Maryland Chicken is one of the most recognised independent fast food chains in the UK. It is a remarkable feat for a family business that started in a small rural town in the UK in the early 1990’s. The first store was opened in Blackburn, Lancashire in 1991. Today, there are 12 outlets sprawled across the UK in seven locations, employing hundreds of people with new branches opening at regular intervals.
